Many of our training modules cover multiple topics that cannot all be reflected in the course title. Currently, Finder prioritises results based mainly on how closely the search term matches the course title. This means users often have to click into multiple courses to read descriptions before finding what they need. It would be useful if Finder’s search had the functionality to include additional metadata fields such as course descriptions, keywords, or tag fields when generating search results. Ideally, administrators should have the ability to assign tags or searchable keywords to each course to improve discoverability.
Hi Tanya, thank you for submitting your idea. I'm currently doing some research on improving our Finder search feature and would be keen to talk further with you. Is that something that you would be interested in?
Kind Regards,
Ben
