Add a “Fit to Width” or auto-scaling option for course titles to prevent layout distortion across different browser and screen settings.

Currently, course titles that extend beyond a single line wrap inconsistently depending on browser font size settings, screen resolution, and zoom level. This can make course tiles appear misaligned or cut off — particularly for users with longer course names or customised browser settings (e.g., decreased font size for accessibility or preference).

Introducing a “Fit to Width” option (or dynamic scaling based on available space) would ensure consistent and professional visual formatting across all user environments. This would improve readability, reinforce platform polish, and reduce the perception of formatting issues, particularly for learners less familiar with system behaviour.

This feature would benefit both learners and administrators by delivering a more reliable front-end display — especially important during onboarding, mandatory compliance campaigns, or rebranding rollouts where first impressions count.

Thank you for feedback. We have since released the ability to create sub-categories and second-level sub-categories in finder editor which would allow you to create shorter titles by making use of the categories functionality. Please let us know if this solves your problem.

I've attached a knowledge base article below:
