We use banners a lot in our current platform and they work really well when we fill the whole space with content. The new format for Spotlights in Evo is really restrictive due to the enforced gradient over the image and the mandatory Heading field. I've attached an example of a banner we currently use - we wouldn't be able to replicate this in Evo :(
We really need the option to have a full size image please!
Hello Emma. Thank you for your feedback. The gradient on our spotlights has been designed with accessibility in mind, to ensure that the text overlay can be read. Therefore, this will not be something that we change.
