Issue: When the system archives old training content, learners keep accessing outdated materials without knowing there are newer versions available. This creates confusion and means people aren't getting the most current information and is causing a headache for admins.
Requested Solution: We need a technical solution to properly handle content transitions when Access update training materials not just relying on intercom or release notes. When archiving content, the system should indicate to admins in good time, whether it's being permanently retired or replaced with something new and if so what and also give admins the opportunity to review the change and choose to implement or not and access / implement previous versions. If learners try to access archived content, they should get a clear message letting them know it's outdated and directing them to the current version or just point straight to the most recent content.
Hello, thank you for your feedback. We have done work this quarter to improve the messaging and cadence in which we tell admins about content being archived. This includes a two week warning and information on whether it is being permanently retired, or replaced with something, and hope that this enables admins to take the necessary steps to remove it from Learners view.
